We believe that bottom-up, entrepreneurial and activist action is key to overcoming social and environmental crises. However, there are many barriers to success. Most people are barred from starting a social and environmental initiative. Most founders struggle to scale their solution. Most NGOs and activist communities are overworked and underpaid.
Gift-Based is an initiative attempting to solve these issues with expert knowledge, effective collaboration and an unprecedented impact philosophy.

Join Our MissionIf more people are involved, we can get to social and environmental solutions faster. Our current goal is to involve at least a thousand people that had not been involved with social and environmental action before, by involving them in the consulting process, creating effective partnerships and consulting new entrants to the scene.
There are already tons of organisations working on existing solutions towards social and environmental justice. By providing top-tier knowledge insights, impact metrics and resources, we help these organisations be even better.
We aim to reach at least three-hundred organisations, with a satisfaction rate of >95%.
Knowledge centres involving many stakeholders should have an active role in fostering intersectional partnerships. Our goal is to foster at least two hundred partnerships for social and environmental actions, by linking our contacts and community with each other at the right times.
By operating entirely on green energy, offsetting our GHGÂ emissions, creating a safe and exciting work environment, catering to diversity and working with a robust and bold impact strategy, we aim to be an organisation that is worthy of consulting others. For these characteristics, we have separate impact metrics that are reviewed bi-annually.
